THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

"Ifs, buts, and perhapses, are sure murderers of peace and comfort."
C.H. Spurgeon

The REAL peace and comfort of life is to KNOW Jesus lives, and
because He lives, I have eternal life through Him!

Job 19:25-27
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another;
though my reins be consumed within me.

THOUGHT____________________________________

Yesterday was a tremendous blessing for me and Ann.
We attended the church where we both grew up.
We met in Sunday School when she was 3 and I was 5.
There, we were both baptized after having surrendered to Jesus as Lord.
There, we surrendered to the ministry God had for us.

And, yesterday ALL of our immediate family was there.
We rejoiced, KNOWING that Jesus is our Lord and Savior!

Christ's resurrection signifies that after Jesus was crucified for my sin,
and yours, He ROSE AGAIN - conquering Satan, death and hell on our behalf!
1 Tim 3:16 says,
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

HE LIVES!!

For those who have surrendered to Him, Christ's resurrection also means we have
HIS ETERNAL LIFE! (See John 1:12, Eph. 1:13)
Also,Titus 3:7 says,
"That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

WE SHALL LIVE!!

And, today, because of this tremendous truth, we have "life more abundantly!" (John 10:10)
We can celebrate every day because we KNOW that Jesus is:
"the resurrection and the life!" (John 11:25)

AND, because He lives, we live!
"And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." (John 11:26)

Can you say in your heart,
"I KNOW my Redeemer liveth?!" AND,
"I shall SEE Him for myself?!"

Love ya!
