Since I've gotten older, I've noticed some things.
I like being HOME!
Everything appears in SMALL print.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
LIGHT from the WORD.
Life is a matter of focusing on what is important!
When our children were about 6 and 4 years of age, we took them
camping on a lake in Arkansas.
It was fun fishing, walking on the beach, playing in the water, and
After about 4 hours, our daughter asked, "Where's the bathroom?"
Ann had to show her how to go in the woods.
Later, she said, "Dad, turn on the TV."
I told her there was no TV out there.
She said, "OK! No bathroom, no TV - let's go HOME!"
Usually, our focus determines our desires!
When we lose our focus on GOOD things, our desires change!
As Christians, our focus should be on the Lord.
We should “meditate” and learn His will according to His Word.
We should “delight” ourselves in His Word, and have an
appetite for it.
We should learn the Word of God – not just memorize
it for a short time.
Then, we should act upon the Word of God,
building our lives around His principles!
Christian, as you get older, remember that God’s Word provides
living food for right living!
Where is your FOCUS?
