Jesus was once asked, "Who is my neighbor?"

Then, Jesus told the story of The Good Smaritan.
A man (obviously a Jew) had been beaten by thieves.
A priest and a Levite came by, but "passed by on the
other side."

Then, a Samaritan came by.
Jews and Samaritans did not like each other.

But this Samaritan medically cared for the beaten man,
got him a room in the hotel, and told the manager,
"Whatever he needs, I will come back and pay!"

Then, Jesus asked the question, "OF the THREE,
WHO was the REAL NEIGHBOR to that man?"

James 2:8-10
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin,
and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet
offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Light from the Word.

According to a recent Gallup poll
A little more than 75% of people in the USA identify as
being Christian. (Survey taken in 2015)

The sad part is that fewer than 35% of them are found
in weekly Bible study.
And fewer than 10% are found in Sunday evening or
Wednesday evening worship hours.
And more than half the members on a church
membership roll can't even be found!

Proof's in the puddin'!

Many people want Jesus as SAVIOR, but very few
allow Him to be LORD!

But the Scripture is very adamant, that for Jesus to be
Savior, He must FIRST be LORD!

Before a fruit tree can bear fruit,
it must first have ROOT!
One cannot dance with the devil and
wind up in heaven!

When Christ genuinely dwells in a person's heart,
that person is "rooted and grounded in LOVE!"
(Eph. 3:17)

ONLY then can one "love thy neighbor as thyself..."
no matter what the color of their skin, or how many
warts, scars and tattoes, or how much they differ
in political thought!

THAT'S who is a REAL Christian!

Is it YOU?

Love ya!
