THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Ski season is almost here! Hence, the following list of Exercises to get you prepared:

1. Visit your local butcher and pay $30 to sit in the walk-in freezer for a half an hour.

2. Find the nearest ice rink and walk across the ice 20 times in your ski boots carrying two pairs of skis, accessory bag and poles. Pretend you are looking for your car. Sporadically drop things.

3. Clip a lift ticket to the zipper of your jacket and ride a motorcycle fast enough to make the ticket lacerate your face.

4. Fill a blender with ice, hit the pulse button and let the spray blast your face. Leave the ice on your face until it melts. Let it drip into your clothes.

Ps 74:17
Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
KJV

*********************************************************************************************

Last night it got really cold here in Louisiana - at least for us Southerners. It was about 28 degrees and the wind was blowing about 20mph.

But remember, God made winter just as He did summer. And God is faithful to bring winter and summer alike "in due season." Just as He keeps that covenant, He will not fail to keep the one He has made with you through Jesus Christ!

God is faithful! And God is ALWAYS on time!

When winter comes, we are reminded of its cruel harshness and our desire for a warm fire! The frost, ice and snow bring chills more than thrills, and send us hurriedly seeking relief.

Is there "winter" in your soul today? Remember, God is the warm comfort of our lives. At any time, we can call upon Him and know His presence. Though He bring many difficulties to our spirits, He will always be WITH us to comfort and help.

The answer to a cold earthly winter season may be a warm fire.
The answer to a cold spiritual winter season is earnest prayer.

Let us wrap ourselves in the warmness of His promises and seek His closeness to protect us from chilly days!

Love ya,
Bruce
