The pastor went into the restaurant, and took a seat behind some flowers.
He didn't see them, and they didn't see him; but he recognized the voice
of two male members of his congregation.

One of them was bragging about his new radar detector.
He said now he could go as fast as he wanted.

The other said, "Yes. But you better be thinking about ‘the man in the sky!’"

The pastor was elated that one of his members was reproving the other.
Then he heard, "Yes. That helicopter can really getcha!"

Jude 1
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are
sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
1 Cor 1:2
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in
Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the
name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through
sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood
of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Light from the Word.

Most folk consider sanctification a work of God's Holy Spirit.
And essentially it is.
It is the work of God IN you.

However, no one part of God works where the others do not work.
Sanctification is a work of God's UNITY.

God is always united in essence.
The Bible says, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD!"
(Deuteronomy 6:4)
Though God is tripartite, there is perfect unison in all decision making.
In all action that flows from God, there is undivided perfect harmony and unity.

We do not have 3 Gods, we have ONE!
All three (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) work
together as ONE.

See then believer, how ALL of God is working for your sanctification!
God the Father has ordained it.
God the Son has atoned for it, and directs the action of it.
God the Spirit performs the work of it in you.

God places high value indeed upon your holiness!

God has said, "...we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk
in them."
(Eph 2:10).

If ALL of God is working for it, then let all of YOU work for it!

Determine today that you shall live so as to make known the work of
God in YOU!

Love ya!
