DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"WORRY"

When I first began driving, we had a
car with little side-windows.
Open one and outside air would flow.

One Sunday a wasp flew in and hit me.
I worried that it would sting me.

It landed on the seat, and I smacked it
with my Bible!

_______SCRIPTURE____________

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

The words "Be careful for nothing..." could
be stated "Do not be overanxious."

Jesus said, "Take therefore no thought for
the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought
for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day
is the evil thereof."
(Matt. 6:34)

Being worried is a normal human reaction.
Instead, we should PRAY!

In my hands a problem may not be solved.
Put it in God's hands!

Yes, we are going to be CONCERNED
about many things.
But instead of becoming anxious or tense,
put them in God's hands.

Excessive worry about the "what ifs" of life
can cause stress, fatigue, and distraction.

Too often, we forget that the One Who spoke
the universe into order is better equipped to
handle our problems.
We just need to ASK!

KILL worry with PRAYER!

Love ya!
