Q: How can you avoid spotting a wrinkle every time you walk by a mirror?

A: The next time you're in front of a mirror, take off your glasses.

Eph 6:24
Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

Being a person means wonderful things: chocolate, ice cream, & fun in the sun.
Being a person also means suffering: arthritis, weight gain, and WRINKLES!

Being a child of God means wonderful things!
Notice our Scripture says we "love our Lord Jesus Christ..."
If you have trusted Christ, and have surrendered your life to Him, then you have avowed love for him.

That love for Christ is deeper than any affection in this earth!
The things of earth are held with a "loose hand," but
your love for Christ is locked tightly in your soul!
Neither man nor devil can UNlock that love!!

That means two MORE wonderful things.
First, your love for Christ is "in sincerity!"
Second, you are receiving "grace" to EXHIBIT that love.

However, there are surely wrinkles with the joy.
It is true, "without a cross, there can be no crown."

First, we are saddened because we cannot love Him enough.
Second, we have not yet reached the pinnacle of our love - eternal glory with Him.

Yet, we are receiving "grace" to deal with those wrinkles!
These two things intensify our desire to know Him more.
They increase our determination to honor Him more.
And, they cause us to plan our lives so that we may work for Him more.

Enjoy the wrinkles.
They lead to a crown!

Love ya!
