We have a saying down here in Louisiana that seems to apply to everything.
"Tune in" to this conversation.

Person one, "Ole Joe fell off the porch and broke his leg."
Person two, "Bless his heart."

Person one, "Miss Janie has been having a difficult time taking care of him."
Person two, "Bless her heart."

Seems like blessing the heart is the cure for all ills!

Rom 8:7-11
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject
to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit
of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the
Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell
in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The "mind" contains information about society's limits upon man:
rules, regulations, laws.
The "flesh" contains desires: food, water, shelter, things.
The "heart" (spirit) of man works through the desires and rationalization,
then, decides.
Without Christ, ALL of us make decisions according to SELF!

What we need is to wrap all three in the "Spirit" of God!
Then, we have "the Spirit of Christ."

And, when "Christ be IN you," then we realize our lives are "dead
because of sin."

However, when "Christ be IN you," then our lives are "quickened"
- made alive to Him and His desires for us!

"Therefore, if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a NEW creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become NEW!"

(2Cor. 5:17)

Yes, above all, the "heart" of man needs to be "blessed" with the Spirit of God!

Well, bless your heart!
May the decisions you make be under the leadership of God's Spirit.

Love ya!
