We have a saying down here in Louisiana that seems to
apply to everything.
"Tune in" to the following conversation.

Person one, "Ole Joe fell off the porch and broke his leg."
Person two, "Bless his heart."
Person one, "Miss Janie has been having a difficult time
taking care of him."
Person two, "Bless her heart."

Seems like blessing the heart is the cure for all ills!

Rom 8:7-11
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the
dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead
shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
dwelleth in you.

LIGHT from the WORD.

The "mind" contains information about society's limits
upon man: rules, regulations, laws.
The "flesh" contains desires: food, water, shelter, things.
The "heart" (spirit) of man works through the desires
and rationalization, then, decides.

Without Christ, ALL of us make decisions according to SELF!

What all humans need is to wrap mind, body and heart (spirit)
in the "Spirit" of God!
Then, we will have "the Spirit of Christ."

When "Christ be IN you," THEN we realize our bodies
are "dead because of sin."
It is because of sin that we grow old, sick and die!

However, when "Christ be IN you," we also learn
that our lives are "quickened" - made alive
to Him and His desires for us!

Yes, our physical lives are condemned to die because of SIN!
BUT -- Praise God -- our spiritual lives are given FREEDOM
to live IN and FOR Christ!!

Above all, the "heart" of man needs to be blessed
by the presence of God's Holy Spirit!

May all your decisions be bathed in the Spirit of God!

Love ya!
