THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

The Christian has a deep, abiding desire to LEAVE
this world and be in God's eternal realm.
But this desire does not make us seek to AVOID
the troubles of this life.

2 Cor 5:4-5
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened:
not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon,
that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God,
who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Light from the Word.
While "in this tabernacle" (body), we sometimes
"groan" with the burdens we face.
Yet, we must not become impatient, for soon our
"mortality" will be "swallowed up" in REAL LIFE!
All mankind is created to exist eternally.
The question is WHERE?
For the truly saved, we KNOW that eternal life will
be with God because He has "wrought us for the
selfsame thing!"
And, He has given "us the earnest of" His Holy
Spirit.
For the Christian, the GOOD thing is:
even through all our troubles,
we KNOW we shall spend eternity with Christ!
So, when troubles get you down - LOOK UP!
For THAT is from where our help comes to
FACE the trouble and continue on.
