THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
In the face of persecution, even when all have forsaken you,
do not let the devil tell you that you are alone;
for God Himself hears your every cry!
I love this second verse of the song: Never Alone!
"The world’s fierce winds are blowing,
Temptations are sharp and keen;
I feel a peace in knowing
My Savior stands between;
He stands to shield me from danger,
When earthly friends are gone,
He promised never to leave me,
Never to leave me alone."
23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise Him; all ye the seed of Jacob,
glorify Him; and fear Him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24 For He hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the
afflicted; neither hath He hid his face from him; but when he
cried unto him, He heard.
Christian, do you sometimes feel alone and forsaken?
It's the devil's ploy to turn you away from God's will in your life!
That first word "fear" in verse 23 is translated from the Hebrew
It means to have immense reverence.
That second word "fear" in verse 23 is translated from the Hebrew
It means to turn aside from the path and take lodging in a secure place.
Christian, if you genuinely reverence the Lord, you may take lodging in Him!
Remember, you are not righteous in yourself.
But your righteousness is placed on you from the Lord Himself.
Christian, God hears your every cry in Jesus!
You will be held up, because God's power is able to make you
stand firm! (Rom. 14:4)
Take your lodging in Christ!
HE is the ONLY secure place!
