It's 5am and the weather man says "storms today."
How do you TAKE that?
Well, it depends upon where you LIVE!
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
LIGHT from the WORD.
“Abide”, means: to continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain.
Christian, to abide in self means you may be able to
"bear fruit," however, you may not be willing.
To abide in Christ means you are both able and willing
to "bear fruit" for His glory.
When we abide in self, we are subject to the frustrations of life.
And, our demeanor is usually consistent with our frustration.
When we abide in Christ, we grow daily in His mannerisms.
Whatever our frustrations may be, we still give Christ the glory for life!
It is necessary that we LIVE in Christ;
That we have communion daily with Him!
Where do YOU live?
