THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

A reporter was writing an article about the Sheriff's task force.
He met, and even rode with, several of the deputies.

He noticed one of the deputies wore a Colt 45 model 1911.
He asked the deputy, "Why do you wear a 45?"

The deputy said, "Because they don't make a 46."

Eccl 8:4
Where the word of a king is, there is power:
and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

The verse above can be applied to Jesus.
He IS King of kings, and Lord of lords.

Jesus is also the "Word" of God. (John 1:1)
By Him, the stars were flung into space, and the worlds formed. (Heb. 1:2)

There is no higher authority than Jesus Christ!
Jesus will judge ALL mankind concerning their eternal destiny!! (Matt. 25:31-33)

The Bible is the written word of God.
It is also the "revelation of Jesus Christ." (Rev. 1:1)

There is POWER in Jesus the King's WORD!
Jesus said, "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."
(Matt 28:18)

Paul said, "...I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power
of God unto salvation..."
(Rom. 1:16)

God's Word is truth without mixture of error.
God's Word is powerful enough to reach deep into the heart of people and
divide between truth and error (Heb. 4:12).

Christians, it benefits us to learn and utilize the Word of God.
For, "Where the Word of a King is, there is power!"

Make 2015 the year you:
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
(2 Tim 2:15)

Love ya!
